In Kona, on the Big Island of Hawaii, Barry & Gloria Blum, leaders of the original Golden Gate Gypsy orchestra of America and California otherwise known as The Travelling Jewish Wedding, have formed KONA'S TRAVELING JEWISH WEDDING BAND. With violins, contra-bass balalaika, vocals, keyboard, guitar, clarinet, French horn and congas, they play for parties, weddings, anniversaries, Bar & Bat Mitzvahs, concerts and other celebrations. As ever, this band is "available for your next affair" with a repertoire of Israeli, Russian, Yiddish, klezmer, freilach and other music of the Yiddish theater, from horas to waltzes and even Japanese and Hawaiian wedding songs!
